VOTE FOR SUNDERBANS!!!!!!




We all know only around 1411 tigers are left in the wild and the number is dwindling fast. India is home to almost 50%of the world's wild tiger population. Sunderbans in India and Bangladesh is one of the few places left where the tigers are still roaming freely .This place is full of magic and mystery.Here, Wildlife still enjoys freedom free from human interference.This place is both fascinating and dangerous .Life here is not easy.The Sunderban tiger doesn't fear humans and are among the fiercest of all. Not just tigers, fishing cats,maqaques, wild boar, common grey mongoose,fox,jungle cat,flying fox,pangolin and chital are also found in abundance in the Sundarbans. It is the largest mangrove forest in the world; Part of the worlds largest delta formed by the Ganges, Bhramaputra & Meghna; . It is the largest national park in India (40% of the Sunderbans is in India the rest is in Bangladesh); It is home to somewhere between 250-300 tigers (man-eaters, more about them later). Reading all this you must realize how important it is to save this place from destrution.


Already the impact of climate change and human activites is taking it's toll on this magical land putting all life here at stake . We need to save this place and we have an opportunity to do so .It's one of the finalists for the 7natural wonders of the world.However at present it's ranking is not so good. If chosen among the natural wonders the Sunderbans will receive all the attention it needs for saving the place. Please do vote for Sunderbans among your 7 choices of natural wonders irrespective of which country you belong to because nature and wildlife knows no boundaries and needs to be saved by entire humanity.
