The
pristine reflection of the curtains of verdure on the waters of Totladoh
concealed a murky truth beneath its tranquil facade.
The
Totladoh waters are part of the Pench National Park and Tiger Reserve which
spreads its wings over the two Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
Our present venture concentrated on the Maharashtra wing of the tiger reserve.
We
were there to lend our ear to the cries of the jungle. The general public of
India are largely unaware of the problems gnawing away our remaining few green
destinations. We wished to be the bearers of this ghoulish news to our friends
in the urban world.
