Day 1
1.Travel from your destination to New Delhi, the capital of India.
Tips: Try to time your arrival time in New Delhi to the first half of the morning. Inform your driver to be there at the right time and be clear about the airport terminal where you are arriving or the train timings to avoid confusion).

2.Your driver picks you up from New Delhi and you embark on your journey to Bharatpur (about 4h 30 min drive from New Delhi)
Tips: There are two highways leading to Bharatpur from New Delhi - via the Taj Express Highway or via the Mathura Road. However, our driver informed us that since we were traveling in winter and there was heavy fog, it was best to take the longer Mathura Road as the Taj Express Highway is prone to accidents.
Also, if you have preferences for specialized meals, please pick them up while you are in New Delhi since you will be mainly traveling through rural areas where specialized meals might not be available.

3.On the way, you have your lunch at a local restaurant of your choice (you need to inform your driver of your requirements).
4.Reach your hotel (Laxmi Vilas Palace) in Bharatpur and spend the rest of the day exploring this heritage hotel.
Tip: The Laxmi Vilas Palace is not any ordinary hotel but is associated with years of rich Indian history. The rich style and decor of the palace also give you an insight into the way of life of the Indian royals. Hence, spend the rest of the day exploring the palace and its grounds and click as many photographs as possible to show your friends and family your royal stay for three days.
